European Union_s Judicial Cooperation Unit
Established in 2002 by the Council of the European Union, the European Union’s Judicial Cooperation Unit (Eurojust) facilitates the execution of international legal assistance and supports the competent judicial authorities of the EU Member States in dealing with organized, national and cross-border crime, while respecting the fundamental EU rights and freedoms.
