FOCUS Project Results:
FOCUS will deliver the following new knowledge and products as tangible input for the planning of security research in contribution to the EU's comprehensive approach:
- Thematic scenarios and plausibility-probed reference scenarios with maps of options, hypertext-based (described on different levels of abstraction, accessible on each level). This will enable users from different audiences to start at different levels of descriptions, working down to the required level of detail.
- A toolkit for scenario planning of tracks and roles for security research associated with future EU roles. This will be in the form of an applied solution in the form of a knowledge space where IT services can be orchestrated to provide a flexible, personalized and on-demand platform to perform analysis, design, communication, storage and evaluation of scenarios in the specific context of security research planning.
- A security research roadmap proposal in the form of a systematic compilation and focusing of scenario descriptions, expert knowledge and further foresight results as well as calibration of opposed expert opinions and expectations as well as divergent outcomes of the scenario foresight process.
